Formatting APA Author-Date Cites in Google Docs with Dr Paper Software To format your in-text cites, have your paper open in Google Docs. Open
your datafile in Dr Paper's Citation app, and
locate the work
you want to cite in your datafile.

In Citation, click the "Copy" button on the Preview box.
Check to make sure that
the Preview box is set to *In text cite, Author-Date, APA.

Go to Google Docs. In your document, place your cursor to place the cite, and click Edit, Paste.

The formatted in-text cite will be placed in your paper.
