Generating a Reference List for your paper
A Reference List, for APA Style, is a bibliography for all the works cited in your paper. It is placed at the end of the paper.

To use CiteWrite to generate a Reference List for your paper:

  1. Go to the end of your paper, and delete the instructions. Put the cursor on the line underneath the word References.

  2. In CiteWrite, click Format, Bibliography. The Bibliography dialog will display.

If you need to change the style, use the drop list to select another style.

  3. Click OK to write your Reference List.
Note: if the Reference List does not instantly appear in your document, click Edit, Paste on the Word (or Works or WordPerfect) menu to write the References.

Your Reference List should look something like this:

    Note:
Sometimes the placement of the cursor will cause the References to be generated without double spacing.

If your Reference list is not double spaced, or is justified,

    1. Highlight the entire Reference List
    2. Click Styles, Formatting, and click on the Style called References to reset the formatting for your References to the correct alignment.
