An annotated bibliography is a list of research materials with a brief summary
of their content, and, sometimes, remarks on their significance for a particular research project.
|
To create an annotated bibliography, you will need to enter a summary in
the Annotation field.
|
|
To write an annotated bibliography for all the works in your datafile:
1. |
Put the cursor in your Word document, at the place where you want to write the annotated bibliography.
Now click Addins, Dr Paper, References to switch to CiteWrite (in Word 2003, just click Dr Paper, References).
|
|
2. |
In CiteWrite, click Format, Write Bibliography, and check the options
on the Bibliography dialog to Alphabetize the References, and Include
Abstract. Use the Publishing Style drop list to make sure the Style is set to APA Annotated Bibliography (6th).
|
|
3. |
Click OK to write the bibliography. Switch to Word to review
the finished Annotated Bibliograhy. Your annotated bibliography
will look something like this:
|
|
Note |
Switching between CiteWrite and Word is easy. You can do this easily by clicking on the CiteWrite icon
at the bottom of your screen, on the task bar.
|
|
Note:
Sometimes the placement of the cursor will cause the References
to be generated without double spacing.
If your Reference list is not double spaced, highlight the entire
Reference List, and then click Styles, Formatting, to change the
style to References.
If the Bibliography does not immediately appear in your word processing
document, click Edit, Paste in your word processor.
