Dr Paper uses Word's Macro language to create documents and insert references. These macros are Digitally Signed with Microsoft Authenticode. To use Dr Paper, you will need to make sure your installation of Word is set to run digitally signed macros.

Before you do that, however, please check to make sure the View options on your computer have allowed a full installation of Dr Paper.

Start Word, and check to see if Dr Paper is available under an Add-ins tab.

Please note that in some releases of Word, VB features and macros are blocked. If you have trouble enabling the macros, just click

Start > All Programs > Dr Paper Version 6 > Create APA Document

Click here if you are using Word 2002 or 2003.

1.
Start Word, and click File, Options, Trust Center, Trust Center Settings.

2.
Make sure your Security Settings are set to Disable All Macros except Digitally Signed Macros.

3.
Return to the Trust Center, and click on the tab in the left column "Trusted Locations."

Click on the Button the ADD NEW LOCATION, and paste this in as the Path:

C:\drpaper6

Click OK to save your new trusted locations, and then restart Word.
