Datafiles created with earlier versions of Citation are
automatically converted when you open them.
Before you convert your datafile to the new Citation format,
we suggest that you copy the datafile to the folder
with your Citation files.
To convert a datafile to Citation format
- Click File, Open Datafile. Citation will display the Open Datafile dialog.
- Enter the name of the datafile to be converted, then click OK.
As it is converting the datafile, Citation will attempt to determine which
form should be used to display records.
Those records for which Citation cannot make a certain determination will be put into
Full Record forms.
You can use the Change Form feature to
assign the proper forms for these records.
