Change Form enables you to change the
form used to display
a record. This feature is useful if you would like to add information
to the record for a translator, an edition number, or some other
piece of information not included in the original record.
To change the form for a record:
- With the cursor in the record you want to change, click Edit,
Change Form. Citation will display the Select Form dialog.
- Choose a new form to use for the record, then click OK. Citation will
change the form for the record.
Note
If you have selected a new form that does not have all the fields that are in the record,
you will see a warning message, indicating that some portion of the information
in your bibliographic record will be lost if you change the form as specified.
To abandon the change, choose No. To continue, choose Yes.
